This project originated at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. The goal of the project was to develop a cheap and user-friendly medical ventilator to be used in less-developed countries with a high demand for ventilators. The ways in which this is intended to be achieved is by making use of open-source technology to keep the costs low and by using AI to lower the knowledge barrier for certain parts of its operation.
Project description
Our goal for this project is to build upon the results of previous S7-project teams. We are doing this by: making the device stand-alone, designing a casing, integrating artificial intelligence, adding a display and a user interface.
